Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a wide-ranging, highly practical course for those seecoursecalendariconks to start, broaden or advance in a technical paraprofessional role in mechanical and manufacturing engineering fields. It could also suit trades qualified people to advance their qualifications. The modules have been carefully selected to address the necessary skills and knowledge required by a person who aspires career advancement.

This course is a strong combination of technical skills training with in-depth knowledge, so the students will be able to apply engineering and scientific principles when managing, designing or executing projects.

The course is targeted at engineers, assistant engineers, technicians, technical supervisors and other personnel who are seeking broad-based Mechanical Engineering knowledge or a career in the mechanical, manufacturing and production sectors. The course is also suitable for people who intend to make a conversion to these technical areas in their career pursuit.

Mode of Assessment:

The assessment depends on the nature of the modules. Please refer to the course structure above. Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.

Entry Qualification:

  • Minimum 3 ‘O’ level or equivalent qualification including English -C6 and any 2 science subjects – C6 (or)
  • International secondary level qualification with English, Mathematics and Science (or)
  • Candidate with Certificate in Engineering Foundation from Capital College of Management And Technology (or)
  • Matured student with more than 3 years relevant working experience will be considered (or)
  • Other qualification with experience will be considered case to case basis.

Graduation Requirement:

Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be awarded by Capital College of Management And Technology upon successful completion of all 6 modules and graduates may use the title AdvDipME after their names.

Certification:

The Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be awarded by Capital College of Management And Technology.
