Programme Overview

Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is advance level then the diploma level icoursecalendariconn terms of the additional modules that are essential to solve the complex technical issues pertaining to the electrical works and manufacturing/ production electronics equipment. The primary aim of the Advance diploma level is to prepare learners to be more competent enough to analyse and manage the technical information and able to apply the latest engineering technologies and appropriate engineering concepts.

The course objective is to develop learners with theoretical and practical application that deals with electrical and electronics circuits, DC & AC analysis and theorems/ concepts/law and microprocessor system.

The technical officers and electrical maintenance professionals are emerging rapidly to support facilities and developing as the foundation of strategic management in order to improve the contemporary business process. The graduates will able to design, install and manage building electrical facilities effectively in the dynamic environment and develop the skills to coordinate the facilities planning, designing and managing building systems and energy efficient that contribute to business success. Student will equip and apply knowledge of electronic principles to solve problems that changes human way of life and convenient. The student will also able to troubleshoot the technical problems pertaining to the electronics and electrical equipment’s., use of electrical and electronic instruments, PCB design and embedded design.

The course will also cover wide range of topics on designing the electrical system to the buildings, BMS (Building Management System), maintenance of electrical system, electrical installation, monitoring & conducting energy audits and optimal energy usage for the building as one of the requirement BCA green mark assessment for buildings

Mode of Assessment:

The assessment depends on the nature of the modules. Please refer to the course structure above. Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.

Entry Qualification:

  • Minimum 3 ‘O’ level or equivalent qualification including English -C6 and any 2 science subjects – C6 (or)
  • International secondary level qualification with English, Mathematics and Science (or)
  • Candidate with Certificate in Engineering Foundation from Capital College of Management And Technology (or)
  • Matured student with more than 3 years relevant working experience will be considered (or)
  • Other qualification with experience will be considered case to case basis.

Graduation Requirement:

Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering will be awarded by Capital College of Management And Technology upon successful completion of all 6 modules and graduates may use the title AdvDipEEE after their names.

Certification:

The Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering will be awarded by Capital College of Management And Technology.
